The Mets make the most of 5 hits in 8-6 victory over the Diamondbacks

The Mets and the Diamondbacks each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Mets capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 8-6 win at three.

The Mets staved off the Diamondbacks as the Diamondbacks were unable to match the Mets down the stretch.

The Diamondbacks scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI double byGeorren Conway and an RBI single by Toby Townsley. Despite their efforts, the Diamondbacks couldn't finish the comeback.

Keshawn Pipken racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Mets. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and fourth innings.

The Mets went up for good in the third, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Ramsey Toumi and a two-run home run by Keshaun.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the fourth, the Diamondbacks faced just a 3-2 deficit. and a walk by Georren fueled the Diamondbacks' comeback. Finally, Keshaun got Cole Branigan to strike out to end the threat.

The Mets answered the Diamondbacks' top inning with five runs of their own in the fourth. The Mets scored on a walk by Ramsey, an RBI single by Keshaun, a steal of home by Keshaun, and a steal of home by Bryce Bowen.
